Expand description

Unsupported dimension/variant combinations return None.

Variants§

§

Identity

Keeps the first three components, padding with zero if needed.

§

Orthographic

Drops the indexed axis; an out-of-range index returns None.

Fields

§drop_axis: usize
§

Perspective4D

Pinhole at (0, 0, 0, focal_distance); a vertex at or beyond the eye in w is refused with None.

Fields

§focal_distance: f32
§

Schlegel

Projects onto the cell plane; the normal must be outward and unit, and the eye outside the polytope.

Fields

§cell_normal: Vec4
§cell_offset: f32
§viewpoint_distance: f32
§basis: [Vec4; 3]
§

Stereographic

Projects unit S³ from a unit pole into its perpendicular 3-flat.

Fields

§pole: Vec4

Unit pole; Vec4::W gives the usual xyz readout.
